My name is Kim LoCicero and I am the proud owner of the State Farm Insurance Agency located at 412 Roosevelt Drive, Derby, CT 06418. I grew up in Bridgeport, CT, and was raised by two working-class parents. My Mom was an executive assistant at GE and then Sacred Heart University. My Dad, a retired Bridgeport Police Officer, patrolled the street's of Bridgeport, in the 70's and 80's on foot. They taught me the importance of caring for my community. After graduating from St. Vincent’s Hospital nursing program, I was a Registered Nurse at The Connecticut Hospice, Inc for over 20 years, supporting patients and their families during one of life’s most difficult times. I was drawn to Hospice as they stood by my family when my Mom bravely fought cancer and unfortunately lost her battle. My time as a nurse taught me how uncertain life is, the importance of preparing for these uncertainties, especially when the unexpected happens.

As a longtime nurse, I never expected to switch gears and become a business owner. I am proud to be a woman business owner and thankful to provide a better life for my family and my team members. I am joining together with my husband Rick LoCicero who serves the Stratford marketplace with State Farm for the past 14 years.
